Let the Games Begin!
We started off our Chickmas weekend with a game of whiffle-ball baseball. The big kids and little kids all got in on the action!
Tom winds in the pitch...
...Trenton takes a crack at it...
...Erik's up to bat...
...Wham! Katlyne gets a big hit!
Mom guards the outfield with one of her little chickies.
Later, after finally acquiring a set of horse shoes, there was a lot of throwing going on...
Nels, Josh, Jeremy and Tom shoot for some ringers.
Nice Form!
Later Erik and Mom join in the fun.
This year's theme was 'High Stakes' so there was quite a bit of card playing going on, also. Candy was used as the 'ante' for some of the card games. There was a lot of candy passing around!
Rachel, Kendall, Trenton, Katlyne and Preston
playing a game of Sevens.
Oooh, which card to use???
A late-night card game in progress
There was also some Cribbage going on -
Or as Katlyne calls it "The Old Man's Game"
Aaaand - Violet got some letter writing in to top it all off!
