Winter is here with a vengence! We've been trying to keep warm with the temperatures dropping to below zero. We got a nice snowfall just before the deep freeze, so all of the snow stuck around and it's been beautiful here. Just wish it were a little warmer! Tom took the boys sledding on MLK day. He dragged me along even though I wasn't feeling the best. I got to be the photographer. They all had a great time!
Keaton started Wrestling - his first meet was last night in Lewiston. Tom and I went and expected to see him get wiped across the mat. (Keaton has never taken wrestling before). We were pleasantly surprised when he pinned the first opponent in the first round. Then at his second match with another opponent he almost pinned him in the first round and finally got him right after beginning the second round! His team was cheering for him - they knew it was his first time. The coach came over and congratulated us and told us we had a natural wrestler. It was crazy. Keaton's next meet is tomorrow, we'll see if it's beginner's luck!
Preston has been working hard at school. He's been busy doing hamburger feeds for his yearbook class - and trying to catch his teachers for interviews for the yearbook. He has driver's ed first thing in the morning and then spends many an evening at school doing other school activities. Life is busy for that one. His grades are great, though! He's looking forward to Spring when he can start training for Track. He hopes to enter some running events as well as his regular jumping events.
Winston has been having a great couple of weeks. He loves school, especially playing with his friends. He loves his teachers, too. He has resumed his Speech therapy and it seems to be helping. Most people can understand him when he's talking now. But he still comes up with some doozies! He keeps us laughing. He's also been reminding his Dad of all the things around the house that need some minor maintenance. I think if Winston were able to do it himself, he would! He's my little Engineer/Contractor/Maintenance Man!

Now when Keaton starts talking trash to Jeremy and Alma he can take them on...I wouldn't be at all surprized if he beat them two up. They're old. The only thing they have on Keaton is their weight...fatties, that's what they are.
