Winston has come up with some really funny comments lately. The other morning when he woke up, the first thing he said to me was "Mom, why do we have a face?" Makes me wonder what he was dreaming. Then last Sunday on our way home from Meeting, he was telling us that he has a "Locker-Brain" where he stores all of his stuff. Keaton asked him if it's a 'stinky' locker. He was greatly offended by that. So we asked him what kind of stuff he keeps in his locker-brain. He said he keeps his math and things he's thinking about in there. He said it's a big locker because he has a big head. Gotta Love him!
On Friday, after we all got home from school, Tom had the camp trailer ready to go. We went down to the Snake River and had an overnight fishing expedition. We found a really nice spot - a bit tight for the trailer to fit into, but Tom was able to sqeeze us in there. The fishing was right outside the door. Winston got his first 'real' fishing pole (a SpongeBob one) and he was very excited to try it out. After about the first 10 minutes he kept asking his Dad why he wasn't catching any fish. Then he started throwing rocks in the water, which didn't make his Dad and brother's too happy. It's probably why they didn't catch any fish. I enjoyed relaxing in the trailer with a good book, "The Physic Book of Deliverance Dane." I was a little dubious about it at first, because it's about witches. But it turned out to be pretty good. The next morning Tom woke with a headache. I think it was the papermill smell drifting up the river from Lewiston. So we packed up pretty early and headed home. By the time we got home he was feeling better. It was short and sweet, with no fish, but we enjoyed our little get-away, anyway.
